Snow Covered Bamboo under Moonlight

I created this painting combining Chinese calligraphy after observing the scene outside my window following a snowfall. In the harsh winter, most plants shed their leaves; only the bamboo remains vividly green, standing resilient beneath the snow. It does not break under pressure, nor does it bow easily. Bamboo symbolizes the virtuous person—one who upholds principles and dignity in adversity, remains unbroken by hardship, and continues to thrive where conditions are most severe.
